Role: Sub-consultant to Lee, Burkhart, Liu, Inc.
Size: 135,800 SF (6 stories)
Completed: 2008
Scripps responded to a regional boom by constructing a new, larger clinic across the street from its former location. The successor expands services, adding urgent care, radiology (including mammography), and onsite ambulatory surgery. SKA was charged with developing a site and building identification system aligned with the existing Scripps brand. The outcome: a synthesized architectural program united by common finishes, colors, materials and shapes that together strengthen wayfinding with simple, organized cues.
