The dramatic makeover of the hospital was vigorously supported by the community, which collectively endowed nearly $111 million in capital contributions. Hospital administrators enrolled SKA to provide a comprehensive donor recognition system that would elegantly celebrate this generosity. SKA developed a program of more than 150 naming opportunities that encompasses major donor walls, dimensional letters, wall-mounted panels and freestanding garden pylons and rooftop panels.
The design solution relates to the wayfinding system by featuring matching background flourishes and stainless steel hardware. Back-lit screen printed glass panels form a dramatic, eye-catching display and visual focal point for their location.
