Providence St. Joseph is located adjacent to several television studios, making it a preferred facility for star-studded patrons. The recurrent support of these distinguished patrons among others incited hospital administrators to develop a formal recognition system, so they turned to SKA to develop donor recognition signing for the main hospital building and northeast tower. SKA planned a system of wall-mounted panels, dimensional lettering, freestanding garden pylons and a major donor recognition wall that is woven throughout the campus. Each building shares a design solution that is complimentary to the architectural intent, while also offering tailored solutions by using transposable materials. Stainless steel serves both as an accent and focus; glass and acrylic panel appears in varied sizes and forms; and custom photo-etched panels offer individualized recognition.
